Checking the Election Log

The Election Log is an audit trail of all significant activity related to the election and is often used for auditing purposes.  

To review the log, navigate to the Election Log page from the election’s navigation menu.

Logged Activities

Below are the most common Activities that may occur in an election.

  • Created the election / Populated the election / Started the election / Ended the election

  • Saved election details

  • Added an elector / Imported list of electors / Edited an elector / Deleted an elector / Deleted all electors

  • Added a question / Edited a question / Reordered questions / Deleted a question

  • Sent an email blast / Scheduled an email blast / Cancelled an email blast

  • Finalized the election

  • Email sent to voter@example.com / Email bounced from voter@example.com

  • Ballot opened / Ballot filled / Internet vote / Kiosk vote

  • Published results / Un-published results

Downloading the Election Log

To download your log in a CSV file to further organize or sort the election activity log data in a common spreadsheet software, click on the Election Log CSV button at the bottom of the Election Log page.
