# Checking the Election Log

The **Election Log** is an audit trail of all significant activity related to the election and is often used for auditing purposes.

To review the log, navigate to the **Election Log** page from the election’s navigation menu.

## Logged Activities

Below are the most common **Activities** that may occur in an election.

- Created the election / Populated the election / Started the election / Ended the election
- Saved election details
- Added an elector / Imported list of electors / Edited an elector / Deleted an elector / Deleted all electors
- Added a question / Edited a question / Reordered questions / Deleted a question
- Sent an email blast / Scheduled an email blast / Cancelled an email blast
- Finalized the election
- Email sent to voter@example.com / Email bounced from voter@example.com
- Ballot opened / Ballot filled / Internet vote / Kiosk vote
- Published results / Un-published results

## Additional Details

The following activities contain additional details that can be accessed from the **Election Log**.

To review the additional data, simply hover over the tooltip displayed next to these activities in the Election Log.

- **Added an elector:**

## Downloading the Election Log

To download your log in a **CSV** file to further organize or sort the election activity log data in a common spreadsheet software, click on the **Election Log CSV** button at the bottom of the **Election Log** page.
