Electors can nominate themselves or any other elector for a given position. > [!NOTE] > Important note > > All electors must have **unique full names**. If some electors have duplicate names, consider including their middle names in order to differentiate them before importing them to the election. Electors with duplicated names will be automatically ignored upon import. ## Adding or Importing Electors Nomination electors are added or imported in the same manner as during a regular election. You will find step-by-step instructions in the main [**Electors**](/v1/docs/managing-electors) article. ## Updating Electors After Finalization Nomination electors can be added, edited, or deleted in the same manner as during a regular election. You will find step-by-step instructions in [**Updating Electors after Finalization**](/v1/docs/additions-deletions-and-editing-electors-after-finalization).
